CDF/SLO County Firefighters Benevolent Association Presents
Operation Santa Claus 2008

Operation Santa Claus was started in 1990 to provide gifts to the
children within the care of SLO County Child Welfare Services. Since that
time the program has helped over 3000 kids including those in our local
foster care system.

Many of these children come from broken, neglectful, or abusive
homes, while other families simply do not have the resources to provide gifts
during these hard economic times. We are accepting new, unwrapped toys,
gift cards, and monetary donations. And as always, all donations go to
children who reside within SLO County.

As in years past Child Welfare Services relies solely on this program
to assure that these children receive gifts during the holidays. The people of
San Luis Obispo County have generously supported this program in years
past and, with your assistance, we look forward to another successful year.

Donations can be made at any Cal-Fire/SLO County Fire Station, the
Morro Bay Fire Dept., and at co-operating businesses. For a complete list of
drop-off locations please go to www.calfireslo.org.

From all of us at the Cal-Fire/SLO County Fire Dept. we thank you
for your support and wish you a happy and safe holiday season.
